It's begining to look a lot like were moving!

This being a short week, since we had Monday off, went by so quickly! It was a week of farewells and getting ready for the move. Ken had a breakfast on Wednesday in his office where his boss went on and on about all the great things Ken has done at work. He was presented with some great awards and I couldn't have been more proud. I always knew that Ken is a hard worker and that he was good at his job, but it is different to hear it from his boss. I wish someone would hold a breakfast in my honor and talk about all the good things I do at home. I think it would sound a little something like this:
We are so proud to have Karen as the primary care taker of Dylan and Jordan. She amazes us daily with how she's able to keep a clean house, provide countless delicious meals and be a great mother to her two boys. She even makes time to support her husband and keeps an amazing family history record in the way of scrapbooking. Even on the most stressfull of situations she's able to pull things with grace and dignity. We'd like to present her with a spa weekend and this plaque for Mother of the Year.....applause. "

Eating breakfast like a sweet boy. If only he would
stay that way.... 

All I needed was 15 minutes to do my hair an makeup
without a little person at my feet. So I left him in the living room
watching a movie while I ran to get ready. When I came back this
is what I found. Jordan had taken a basket of clean folded towels
and dumped them all in the dirty clothes. he tore the house apart
in 15 minutes!

On Wednesday we attended a breakfast at Ken's work
where they presented Ken with some awards. This is his plaque
for being the Directorate's Company Grade Officer of the Quarter.

He got it for the work he did this past 3 years.

This is a mug that was presented to Ken at his farewell lunch.
It's made of the casing from a weapon. The handle is a bullet.
The inscription says "Thanks for your support, wisdom and
leadership." 

This is a project I made as a thank you gift for Dylan's
physical therapist. It has pictures of one of their first sessions
when Dylan was 10 months old and some I took this week. 

It says "A therapist...
...has patience without measure.
...treats with tender care.
...sees true potential.
...gives encouragements.
and on the back it says...
...becomes a friend for life. And I wrote a personal
message, thanking her for 3 1/2 year or wonderful
service. We are truly going to miss her. 

We're back...

Disney was so much fun. It rained a lot and when it wasn't raining it was so hot. It was a lot hotter than I remembered it being last September, but it's so fun you don't mind the heat. (or rain) The rain was a little more difficult for us because Dylan hated his poncho and threw a fit when we put it on him. He was much happier getting wet. So we let him. Jordan on the other hand loved his poncho and loved walking in the rain and jumping in the puddles. He looked so cute in it. I wish I had taken more pictures of the rainy days, but I didn't want to get my camera wet. A lot of the ride are actually indoor so we only got wet walking from ride to ride. It was refreshing. Well, the other things we will remember from this trip are how Jordan was so still and a little scared on most rides. You could see how he was trying to figure things out. It was fun. He did great standing and lines and holding our hands. He never tried to run off. We will also remember the day at Sea World. They were doing a Salute to the Heroes and we got in for free for being military. The shows were great, but the boys were too little for all the rides. Seaworld was fun, but not for kids under 45 inches. And the thing we will remember the most was the WIGGLES!!! The concert was so much fun. I think that Ken and I had just as much fun as the boys. We knew all the words and danced along with the boys. Dylan loved it. We did however cut our trip a little short since the weather was expected to be bad because of Ernesto. We still had enough time to do everything we wanted to do and are now back and gearing up for the move. It's comming up soon. Ken made a quick trip to Ohio on Thursday leaving his car there at a friends and then flew home on Saturday. He had a purpose for the trip besides leaving his car there so we could all drive together, he signed the lease on our new house! Yeah we have a place to live in Ohio. Now if we could only sell our house here.... Enjoy the pics. Have a great week.

the aliens while the cart moves around. It's a lot of fun
cause it keeps our scores. 

Not even rain can spoil Disney. We went on the
Buzz light year ride, we love shooting the aliens.

This time we tried for Jordan to meet them.
