Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July! We hope that everyone enjoys their long weekend. We are celebrating the 4th at home getting Dylan better. I think he has a mild case of food poisoning. Not from my cooking, but from Wendy's. He woke up last night at 4 am with a fever and vomitting. And it looked like mandarin oranges that he had on friday. Gross huh? Poor baby. Besides that he has had a great week. On Friday at therapy they tried some air filled splints on his arms which put a pressure on his muscles that make it so he won't fight against it. It's kind of weird to explain, but he put them on and his hands were open when he was weight bearing on them. He did great. After wearing them for 20 minutes we took them off and he still keeped them open. It was amazing. He tried so hard, and did so well that I took him to get a kids meal on the way home. Turned out that it may not have been a real good treat. :(
Jordan is doing great. He is such a quick learner. This week he began crawling on his hands and knees. He still belly crawls sometimes, but it's less than before. He is also sitting up like a pro. It was so much fun for me to take him grocery shopping and have him sit in the cart. He does new things every day.
Today we attended out first neighborhood cook out. Our neighbors from across the street hosted it and it was so much fun. He is a king on the grill and I had the best ribs I have ever had. Ken thought so too. And Ken knows ribs! yumm....
