Back to life...

It is so great to have Ken home again. We missed him a lot while he was away. I did alright with the boys all week. Nights were the hardest, mostly because the Jordan and Dylan were waking several times during the nights. Sometimes, both at the same time. It was nuts. We've been pretty relaxed about Dylan's sleep pattern since Jordan's birth. We used to be able to lay Dylan down after story and prayers and he would get himself to sleep. It was so liberating. It slowly got worse and nowI will lay him down at 7:30 and it would be 11:30 before he is asleep. And he would wake once or twice during the night. So we are practicing getting him back to a "big boy sleep routine". We'll work on Jordan after Dylan is set.
Dylan started school for the fall on Thursday and he is really loving it. He comes off the bus worn out, but really excited to tell me about his day. As I read his daily report and ask him questions about what he's done he gets so excited.
Yesterday we had a family fun day and took the boys to Pensacola. We went to a Gymboree play class and the boys had so much fun. We had fun too, seeing the boys having such a great time is what being parents is all about. I took lots of pictures. Then we went out to lunch and then we saw a movie at a cool theatre that plays older movies. (like a dollar theatre, only it cost $2.50 and we get in buy one get one free with a military discount.) It was nice to spend time as a family. Hope you all have a great week.
